Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since you received your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition as when you received it, it must also be in the original packaging. It must be returned within 14 days after your return request was sent to us by email. When your return arrives at our office it can take up to 30 days until it's handled and you'll get a refund.
How do I make a return?
Please do not send your purchase back to us before sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org requesting a return.
Send us information about:
- order number
- your full name
- and the name of the products that you wish to return.
You have the right to return or exchange your product, regardless of your reason, within 14 days of receiving the product. Please enclose the return form with your package stating your reason accordingly and kindly return the unused product in the original Salt & Sand packaging, all hangtags, and hygiene protections still in place.
When returning goods, shipping is at your own expense. However, if we have delivered a faulty product we will refund you the shipping fee.
All orders will get a return slip from us on PDF by email after requesting a return.

Norway/Denmark/Finland/International: 100 SEK
The price of returns will be deducted from your order when we refund you.
How will I get my refund?
When your return is received and inspected (processing time is about 2 weeks):
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds?
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at email@example.com.
Exchanges / Reklamation
We only replace items if they are defected or damaged by production faulty - not if the item is being uncarefully used. If you need to exchange it for the same item/different size, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org, attach an image of the faulty item, (returns on broken or defective items are free).
All return costs will be deducted from your order when we send you a refund.

Shipping costs are non-refundable
Make sure to collect your package, if you don't pick it up and it's sent back to us, we will take out a fee for packaging, shipping, and labor cost. The cost will be 30% of the order summary + full shipping cost.
Gift: Hawaiian Tropic
If you got a gift from Hawaiian Tropic in your package, this has to be returned to us if you wish to make a return of your entire order. If you keep 1 item in your order, the gift is yours to keep.
If the gift is not returned to us together with the return, a fee of 150SEK will be deducted from your refund.
Salt & Sand products are made of the finest fabric available. However, no polyamide fabric is completely colorfast when exposed to saltwater, sun, or chlorine – especially turquoise hues are sensitive. For your garment to last as long as possible please follow the care instructions carefully. Hand washes the garment after each use with a mild detergent without bleach. Do not soak the garment for too long. After each use, rinse several times and let drip dry in the shade. Never wring or twist the garment, and never use a dryer. Be careful with suntan lotions as they have the ability to destroy the fabric. Avoid contact with rough surfaces as this may cause pulling to swimwear.
Our Activewear is just as delicate, take care of your favorite items! Wash inside out, do NOT use softener, and we prefer to use powder wash. Wash with similar colors - hang dry!
